Parking on this street is often hard to come by. One of the benefits of walking/riding a bicycle almost everywhere is not having to worry about that much. I suppose it's also slightly less of a concern if you're like the picture of the day.

One of the benefits of living where I do is the ability to conveniently walk (or, even better, ride my bike) to several convenient establishments including the home of delicious soup-in-a-breadbowl, the St Louis Bread Co. Yes, the truck is definitely not a bicycle, though it enjoys parking here too. What makes this picture unusual is that the two bikes on the right aren't actually at bike racks, but are instead just parked nearby. As a brief respite from working this afternoon, I ventured once more to the trails of Forest Park. On some of the hills, my bicycle goes faster than the traffic on Highway 40 (not that that's difficult during rush hour). On others can be found the location for the picture of the day.
